Mailing Lists is a module for phpWebSite that allows mass emails to be sent to visitors who have subscribed to various lists. This release requires phpWebSite 1.5.2 or later.
This release includes several enhancements. File Cabinet can now be used when sending emails to add images to HTML messages. In addition, Smart Tags are also supported in the HTML messages, giving users another option for including content in their emails. The module now maintains the database better by purging subscribers who haven't activated their subscription in over 2 days. Also, both plain text and HTML emails are now templated, giving admins greater control over the appearance of the emails. Finally, pager settings are now cached, retaining users' desired pager settings for the duration of their session.
This release also adds a workaround for an issue where emails could be sent with relative URLs.
Ads is a module for phpWebSite 1.5.2 or later. It allows admins to create ad zones on their site where banners and text ads can be placed. Stats such as views and hits are recorded. Advertisers can log in to view how their ads are doing.
This version now uses the demographics module to store the business name of advertisers. This allows the business name to be used by other modules, such as Rolodex, meaning the same data won't be replicated to multiple tables in the database.
After a small delay, the first release of dc4dbi18n is ready for download at
http://downloads.sourc...8n-1_0_0.tar.gz
This module is for phpWebSite 1.5.2 or better and does the following:
- builds a matrix with all site's modules and the state of the all gettext po and mo files language pairs.
- allows you to edit the po files and change translations or create new generated po files if none still exists (or recreate if desired).
- lets you compile po files into mo files.
- verifies directory structure according to phpWebSite rules for i18n and creates directories if desired.
This minor update just adds cache clearing to the save settings and is otherwise the same as 0.2.0.
