ControlpanelGuide
The following guide will explain the function of the Control Panel module and how to use it.
What is the Control Panel Module?
The Control Panel Module is a module that allows you to change the settings of all of the tabs and icons in your Control Panel.
How do you use the Control Panel Module?
To use the Control Panel Module, you first go to your Control Panel and then select your Administration tab. From there select the Control Panel icon.

Once you are in the Control Panel Module, it should look very similar to the image below.

The up and down arrows allow you to change the order the icons in your Content and Administration tabs appear. From here you are also able to change the name and description of each Module that appears in the Content and Administration tabs by selecting Edit. A window, such as in the image below will pop up.

In the pop up window, you are able to change the label and the description of the module. If you wish to do this, simply erase the old label and/or description and enter your new one.
Permissions
All modules have a set of permissions that can be set to allow a user/user group or users/user groups to have different access to each module. These options are available through the User Administration module and you can learn more about permissions in the Permissions Guide. The Control Panel module allows you to give users none or unrestricted permission. If users are given unrestricted permission, they will be able to have full access to the module the same as you do as the site administrator. If they are given no permission, they will not be able to modify the module. You can also give permission to move tabs, add tabs, and/or move links.
