ThemegeneratorGuide

The following guide will explain the function of the Theme Generator module and how to use it.

What is the Theme Generator?

The Theme Generator is a way to change or add a theme to a phpWebSite. However it is mostly designed to be used by advanced users and by Electronic Student Services when they are setting up accounts. (Note: This module is responsible for the way your website looks.)

How do you use the Theme Generator?

To access the Theme Generator, go to the Content tab in your Control Panel. From there click on the Theme Generator icon.

Once in the Theme Generator you are able to modify many settings that affect the appearance of your website. However, if you make changes, you may not be able to get your website back to the proper look so unless you know what the changes will cause, it is advised you do not modify the theme of the site.

Permissions

All modules have a set of permissions that can be set to allow a user/user group or users/user groups to have different access to each module. These options are available through the User Administration module and you can learn more about permissions in the Permissions Guide. The Theme Generator module allows you to give users none or unrestricted permission. If users are given unrestricted permission, they will be able to have full access to the module the same as you do as the site administrator. If they are given no permission, they will not be able to modify the module.
