WhodisGuide
The following guide will explain the function of the Whodis module and how to use it.
What is the Whodis Module?
The Whodis module is able to track what sites have referred users to your website. With Whodis, if a user follows a link from another site to visit yours, Whodis will keep a record of what site(s) linked to yours.
How do you use the Whodis Module?
To use Whodis go to the Administration tab of your Control Panel and then click on the Whodis? icon.

Once you are in the Whodis module, you should start on the Referrers tab. Here you will see a list of what websites have referred users to yours and even how many visits their referral has gotten you. You can sort by when the referrals happened by selecting the Referrer age drop menu and selecting an age. Anything older then the age you selected, will be excluded from the list. You also have the option to delete records of referrals.

The other tab in Whodis is the Filters tab. Here you can add filters to who will be tracked by Whodis. If you are getting referrals from a site you don't want to track, you can add it to your filters list.

Whodis is a useful tool to see who has taken notice of your website and where users are visiting from.
Permissions
All modules have a set of permissions that can be set to allow a user/user group or users/user groups to have different access to each module. These options are available through the User Administration module and you can learn more about permissions in the Permissions Guide. The Whodis module allows you to give users none or unrestricted permission. If users are given unrestricted permission, they will be able to have full access to the module the same as you do as the site administrator. If they are given no permission, they will not be able to modify the module.
